- Every effort will be made to process your order within the following two business days. Orders placed on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) will not be fulfilled until normal business hours as stated above (Monday through Friday). During peak season delays may occur due to part availability.
- Items that require 3rd party shipping and during peak season periods may be delayed due to availability. Airstream production items can be delayed 8-10 weeks during peak season and a minimum of 2-3 weeks during normal production periods.

Return Policy
Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase date. Prior authorization for return MUST be obtained. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Products returned without authorization will NOT be refunded. We reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee on any return. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.
- Perishable goods such as cleaning products and printed materials cannot be returned.
- We also do not accept products that include but are not limited to fresh water installations, waste/sewer installations, electrical or electronic items, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
- Products that are cut to length by foot, square foot, or square yard MAY NOT BE RETURNED.

Airstream Truma Safety Drain Valve - 602541-31 is a plumbing safety and drain component used with the Alde hydronic heating and domestic hot-water system in various Airstream travel trailers. The valve is on the fresh-water/domestic hot-water side of the Alde installation, rather than being a valve for draining the glycol heating circuit. That distinction matters: the Alde system contains both a closed glycol circuit that carries heat around the trailer and a potable-water circuit that supplies hot water.
Its principal purpose is to provide a safe discharge/drain path for the water heater system. When opened, water can be released from the hot-water portion of the system and directed through the drain plumbing toward the exterior of the trailer. This is particularly important when the water system needs to be drained for winterization, storage, or service.
The valve also belongs to the safety arrangement around the water-heating equipment. It should therefore be treated as a functional plumbing/safety component, not simply as an ordinary low-point drain.
Why the valve matters during winterization
Because water trapped in the boiler/hot-water plumbing can freeze and expand, properly draining that portion of the system is important before exposure to freezing temperatures. The safety drain valve provides a means of evacuating that water.
